  • Psychotherapy and Psychological Treatments: Theoretical Foundations of Assessment and Treatment7,5 hp+

    Introduces the theoretical foundations of psychodynamic therapy (PDT) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), including diagnostic models and case conceptualisation within each approach. Applies both frameworks to case material and conversation-skills practice for clinical assessment.

    A grounding in the legislation and organisation of work life, social policy, and healthcare relevant to psychological practice. Covers confidentiality law and the ethical principles that shape both legislation and everyday clinical practice.

    Practical training in psychological assessment of adults, applying test theory through standardised measures of cognition, memory, and personality. Covers interpreting and communicating results, motivational interviewing, and the ethical limits of traditional testing across cultural contexts.

  • Psychological Assessment 4: Children and Youth7,5 hp+

    Practical training in assessing children and adolescents across clinical, educational, and social-care settings, including test selection and multi-informant evaluation. Covers case analysis, report writing, suicide-risk assessment, and safeguarding procedures for reporting concerns to social services.
